Diving

For lovers of the sea and its underwater marvels, the Argentario coast is one of the best places: here, accompanied by two instructors who have worked from their passion to make it possible to scuba dive, snorkel or simply get to know these activities with lessons for old and young.

For diving lovers, we recommend one of the newest ideas: an afternoon immersion followed by a sunset aperitif, to then end the night with dinner under the stars.

Have you ever been snorkeling in search of signs left by the Neanderthal Man? Here, the Grotta di Cala dei Santi (The Cave of Saints Bay) gathers all of this, leaving us speechless… Passing Punta Avoltore toward Porto Ercole you come upon an inlet, one of the cape’s most ancient; actually, it was right here that numerous relics were found which would attest to the presence of humans during ages now remote. According to the inhabitants of Monte Argentario, expert seamen, the Bay’s name is inspired by the flowing shapes of the stalactites and the stalagmites which, in fact, resemble those of the saints.

And then we have that which you absolutely must not miss, the introductory dive, a test dive designed precisely for anyone who has never experienced the thrill of diving, but nevertheless is dazzled by the idea of being able to fly underwater.
