Natural Park of Maremma

…an impassable and wild chain of hills, which descends towards the sea with sandy beaches and cliffs…surrounded by marshes, pine groves, cultivated fields and pastures.
The Maremma Park, with its range of hills descending towards the sea to reach the sandy beaches and cliffs, spreads from the mouth of the Ombrone river till it reaches Talamone, along 25 km of the breathtaking Tuscan coastline surrounded by marshland, pinewood forests, tilled land and pastures.
With the scent of aromatic herbs and colorful berries and the cry of its wildlife, the Park greets visitors unveiling both its gentle and primitive nature.
A clash of elements which awakens the need to be pampered in a newfound paradise.
Above the mountains of Uccellina there are towers and religious buildings which witness the past man’s presence: San Rabano Abbay, Collelungo and Cala di Forno towers and Torre Rivolta of the Le Cannelle Club, where it is possible to stay! From Talamone you will find the entrance to three itineraries of the park, T1, T2 and T3. It is possible to visit the park riding along with a Cowherd of the Maremma, starting from the Talamone Camping Village.
